Pics wanted of 7 spoke split OEM rims in Gunmetal

https://www.myg37.com/forums/attachm...n-g-wheels.jpg

Hello,

I am looking to see what a white G37 would look like with these wheels powdercoated gunmetal or satin black. I have been searching for 1-2 hours and can't find any pictures. Thank you all for your help!

Thank you. I really appreciate the reply. I would really like to see if anyone has powder coated these specific rims though. Even if it's not on a white sedan. Thank you!

My sedan: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

This isn't powdercoated but it is a near-duplicate effect using black plastidip combined with metalizer. Looks 10x nicer than normal matte black plastidip.

Sorry I don't have a full side-profile project, these are pictures i took a while ago to compare my wheel gap. Also, the car wasn't completely clean in these pics.

^you got the good stock rims on your sedan! I got the ugly 12 S model 18s. OP, if you do a google sesrch and type "g37 oem wheels gunmetal" then hit images, you may find what you're looking for.

Yeah, mines an 07 so they didn't change them to the imo less impressive "duckbill" rims haha. I've held off on aftermarket rims for over 2 years because I really do love these OEM sport 18's.

Yeah, agreed, if my car came with rims like yours or 19 coupe spoke rims then I woild not consider getting aftermarket rims.

I prefer a flatter color, it's tough to keep the shine looking good. But if it's done right with the other trim pieces black (window trim, headlights, diffuser, etc) the gloss can really complete the image.

Only downside to the split spoke 18s is they don't clear the BBK like the ducks, but a great looking wheel, really liked them on our 07 G35.

OP agree w/ takeapieandrun, that shiny one is black chrome I believe, and would be very costly to reproduce, looks great though. For an easier finish to duplicate a matte finish would be better.

Also have you considered bronze? IMO one of the best colors w/ a white car
