As far as what width is best, that's surely debatable, but something in the 8.5 to 9.5 inch range is good for weight and fit. Wider tires all around will be more prone to tramlining and not as quick turn in, along with added weight. Wider sets will give a more planted feel and obviously look more aggressive.
With your AWD you can run a staggered setup (wider rear wheels/tires) but you MUST keep your rolling diameter as close as possible between your front & rear so tire sizing is extremely important. If you have a variance over 1% you could have issues w/ your AWD system, and there are combos that are as little as 0.07% so this is what should be your goal w/ such setups.
What are the front and rear widths on these rims?

Wheels are only part of the game if you're trying to reduce weight. For example, in 18" trim, Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are only 24 pounds, opposed to the 28 pounds that the OEM Bridgestone RE050A weigh.
A set of PSS on the 18" RPF1 would be a track-worthy setup for a DD.

That's very true. If appearance is part of your rim choice, then selecting a wheel with narrow spokes isn't the best choice for the basic brakes.
You know... the OP is active in another thread, asking about getting 12 second runs out of his AWD Sedan
, blithely referencing a supercharger mod, and then starts asking about grounding kits. Grounding kits! LOL
I think there's a general lack of seriousness here. I'm gone.

Any glamour shots of these on a sedan?
Before you SC try the lighter wheels and tires then tune. I haven't tracked my car but it's a heck of a lot quicker now than when I got it.
