Picking a wheel that fits

SO im running 20x9 Vossen now but im thinking of going back to 18's but know nothing about Rims.
here is what im looking at running
SSR GTV-01 what would be a better setup
18x9.5 +22 or 18x9.5 +35
im lowered on Eibachs is that helps..
throw in your thoughts about what size tires would work with the setups as well.
thanks
Chuckie

Chuckie,
I'd go with 18x9.5 +45 running 245/45/18s all around
Here's Carls sedan on those exact specs w/ SSR GTV03s
If you don't mind a bit of poke in front the +35s would work, the +22s are too aggressive with in spec camber and no fender mods.

The Toyo Proxes T1 Sports are a nice summer tire for good pricing too!

Then added a mild Tanabe drop

so i decided to go with SSR 18x9 +35 offset pretty sure these tires should fit with no issues..
would like to go with 265/40/18

anyone see any issues with running a little wider tire..

right now im running a 20x9 +38 vossen with 255/35/20

Why the drop all the way to 18s?
19s will fit the wheel well better

You meant the 18x9.5 +35, they don't make a 9 AFAIK, that will be a nice flush fit.

I am definitely interested in how they look when you get them. I was looking at the GTV02's in the same size.

Lol, sorry, I was looking at treadepots' listing and they list a
GTV01 18-9 5:114.3 35ET SILVER
and a
GTV01 18-9.5 5:114.3 35ET SILVER
Just glossed over the 9 & 9.5 difference as they look too similar when speed browsing
They should be a nice setup and those 5 spokes will look

Chuck, you may have to flat roll the front fender edge, it's a simple job, under hard compression those 265s may rub if you keep the fender edge as-is.

What tires are you considering?

Here is where I compare all my tires I compared the 265 to my 255/35/20 I'm running now they are a tad wider but smaller diameter
