Help problem with installation of wheels

So, today I am install a set of wheels on my 2012 g37x coupe and, I was just told that the bolt in the hub is to far out and the center cap won't clip back in. I've never heard of this problem before. The installer told me to check the wheel dealer to see if there is a deeper center cap or to shave down the bolt a couple threads. Anyone hear of this problem before?

There's a couple wheel brands that I know of that have had this problem IIRC Incurve was one of them. Not sure but you might be able to shave down those tabs a bit so they will fully seat but not sure

Lol that's a concave wheel problem especially with low offset. If I'm not mistaken, the bolt that you are referring to is the axle. Shaving it down a bit should not cause any issues. Remember to post pictures

Wow you have very low profile rubberband tires which make your wheel gap really bad you need a drop asap!!

So what happened with the center caps?

With the roads here in chicago I'd be worried about destroying the wheels with such low profile tires. What is that a 25 or 30 profile?
