2011 Coupe Wheels on Sedan

I see everyone using the 2008 Coupe wheels, but have never seen the 2011 coupe 19" on a sedan. Anyone have any pictures of this? They look pretty similar, but was wondering if anyone had tried putting them on a sedan. I was thginking of doing it just to be different.

Hey thanks. Hmmm, still perplexed, not sure if I like them more or less than the 2008's on the sedan.

Very cool that Baby Jumpman jumped right up with an example. A really good one, too. Nice pic.

I think they look great on the sedan. But in so far as being "different" by using these instead of the typical Coupe 19's... that's like trying to be different by putting 1% milk on your cornflakes, instead of 2%.

Here's another thought: let's assume you're one of those people who are obsessive about keeping your rims clean. I can only imagine what a PITA it is to properly clean and wax those wheels.

Wow. Those look really good on the LP sedan. I wonder what a set of these would cost though as you are going to be competing with a alot of members here on the forum once the first set is posted for sale.

I agree with Rochester that those will be tough to keep clean. The factory Sport Wheels ("Spiderman wheels") are a dream to maintain.

I understand what you are saying, but still don't see anyone with those wheels on a sedan really. Also, I am getting impatient trying to find a square set of 2008 19's. A piece of my bonus is burning a hole in my pocket. I want wheels, tires, akebono brakes, and coilovers asap.

Anyone have experience buying any of the OEM wheels that have been remanufactured? I am wondering if I buy remanufactured wheels from different shops if the colors will match. It seems like remanufactured wheels run around 300 each, and I don't want to waste 300 if the colors dont match.

How about a picture of the 2008 coupe 19" wheels in question on a sedan (preferably same car color) so we can compare this side-by-side.

Seems like we want the same things. New wheels, coils. My bbk is still sitting waiting to be installed. I'll be selling my square 19x9 coupe sport rims in a couple of weeks more then likely. I'd look up mudmony profile if he's still active and see if he has more pics. Different angles will give you a better idea.

I got sick of waiting / thinking / debating so I pulled the trigger on the 2008 style wheels yesterday. All 19x9's, and I hope to have them by next week. Next up is figuring out the exact AS tires I want in 255/40/19. Today I am going to order Akebono BBK. Still thinking about how I want to lower the car.

I know what it's like impatiently waiting to order something.

You almost made it 26 hours

Is the 2011 19" rims any lighter than the 2008 19" rims?
