One year later - Pilot Sport A/S3 still GTG
Thought I'd post a little "one year later" follow up on the Pilot Sport A/S 3s I put on at the beginning of last winter. These tires are still handling, tracking, and gripping beautifully, one year in. I actually suffered a road impact so severe as to slightly bend two wheels, and the tires are still balancing and riding perfectly. I commute in this car, into the city, about 350 miles a week.
That is all.

Butternut, what type of G sedan do you have these on ... Journey, X or S?
I have an S 6MT with staggered wheels so you can't rotate. I just replaced my rear Pilot Sport A/S Plus (which were worn out after ~10K miles!) with a pair of A/S 3. My initial impression is that they don't handle as well as the Plus. Maybe they will last longer, though.

My MB has a staggered setup, and I can't for the life of me get those four tires to wear at an even remotely similar rate.
Has anybody ran these A/S3 on eibach pro kit without camber kits? I ask cuz this is my current situation. Have had pro kit on current tires no uneven wear rotating every 5k. My concern is I had the Michelin plus on TL stock and they wore out in about 15k. Read somewhere the tires don't do well with camber but wanted to see if there is any validity to that
Stock 2011 G37S - just had these tires in the recent mid-Atlantic snowstorm. Tires had about 3000 miles of wear on them. They did well in the slush on the highway and were fine on level surface streets with about a couple of inches of well traveled slushy snow, but I was dead on a modest PA hill with 2" of snow with only one set of tire tracks ahead of me. I tried to get up once with stability control on - car stopped dead about 3/4 of the way up and slid back down, mostly sideways.
Then the plow came and I tried again. He didn't fully clean the road and there was about an inch of snow on the ground. I still couldn't get up the hill. Twice I slid into modest ditches and we pushed it out.
I tried an alternate route and the only way I could make any progress was by turning off stability control and watching the rear end swing side to side. Missed a couple of trees by inches. Still couldn't get up the alternate route's hill.
Finally, once that road had been plowed a second time, and more cars had turned snow into slush, I was able to make it up the hill. Stability control off, lots of wheelspin to keep it moving.
If I were living in an area that it snowed regularly I'd get snow tires. Or more likely, I'd just drive my 4WD truck on the snowy days.
The tires were otherwise fantastic for my cross-country trip. 5600 miles in ten days.

Another update: checked and I have 7800 miles on these tires so far, 90% highway. Tires originally had 10.5/32 (per mfr) and now have 9/32 on the front and 6/32 on the rear. That's telling me I'll get about 15,000 miles on the rears.
I just took mine off in place of snows after two seasons and still running strong. Aside from their winter traction, the tire is probably one of the best I've owned. Thanks for the update!
After driving a month on my A/S3's, I definitely miss my older A/S Plus. They had much better dry traction and noticeably better handling. Snow traction on the A/S3's might be a bit better and since the tread seems harder, probably better tread life.
