I've been researching this for a couple of days but I can't seem to find the answer that I'm looking for.

I have a 2009 Infiniti G37x Coupe. I recently installed a set of aftermarket wheels with summer tires and no TPMS. I kept the OEM TPMS on my original set of wheels for the winter season.

My TPMS part # is 40700-JK01B.

I have never seen this part # sold in the classifieds and I can't remember seeing this in ebay neither.

Now here's my question, do I need to buy the exact TPMS part # (40700-JK01B) or can I buy any TPMS with different part # as long as it's from a pre-March 2010 infiniti g37? Then I can just have it reprogrammed in any tire shop or dealer.
Through my research, I've learned that I can't use any TPMS from post-March 2010 infiniti g37.
