advice on tire and wheels

Hey guys been reading for a while and I think im ready to go ahead and make my first big mod purchase which is wheel and tire
my car is a 2010g37x I live in canada and lowering the car is not really somthing I want to do as its my DD.

anyhow stock suspension im looking at
19" NICHE VERONA M150
19X8.5 +35
19X9.5 +35
5X114.3
http://www.nicheroadwheels.com/cms_p...1%20Verona.pdf

hows that looking in terms offset? its going on a black sedan

as far as tires front hankook ventus 245 40 19 rears 275 3519 would this work on the awd?

I DD my car in Winnipeg and am lowered on swift springs, zero issues as far as winter travel goes. A bit rough on the minefield roads we have here, but the car looks 100x better. Your optimal offset will also change if you decide to lower later, so that's something to consider

I would go 235/40/19 front 275/35/19 rear, this will make your rear tires 0.67% larger so as the rear tires wear faster than the fronts (typically) the diameter variance will improve over time. If you go 245/275 the rears are already 0.52% smaller and the variance will increase over time. But either setup will work and your offsets are good.

Those veronas are nice looking wheels for sure, looking forward to pics when you get them on.

Nice looking setup for your G, looks like the fit is just right and like you said, it'll really shine w/ a drop. Nice job!

Nice choice on wheels!
I agree, consider going with a Swift drop...would be perfect.

Went out for a spin and I dont know what it is but i was expecting the ride to be harsh?
my previous was the stock 17 with michelin primacy mxv4 and I can get them to squeel on turns where i gas and sometimes the vdc goes on, with the Conti dws and 19" it seems the ride became smoother? the on ramps off ramps i took i went faster and body roll was less
so happy right now with this mod, Ive already contacted vendors for the swift
just trying to gauge the local garages on how much labor would be

BTW, I know we talked back & forth about tire sizing, what sizes did you end up with?

Glad you're happy w/ the ride, and those Contis will be a big improvement from those OEM Primacy's.

Ended up with 245 40 275 35.. reading up on swifts and lowering my car has 80k miles
Ive had it since 70k and i didnt touch the shocks im afraid my shocks might still be stock
read that lowering puts more stress on suspension parts

I got my swifts from evasive motorsports, and spacers from b2design. Had them shipped to a depot in north dakota then picked them up. Not sure how your wheels will look after drop, offset-wise.

I couldn't put together enough time to do the springs myself so my corner shop guy did it for $350 cash, said it took him 6 hours. That seems long to me, but with two kids and a wife to look after I don't have much time for wrenching. My car is also from ontario, so he may have run into some seized rusty bolts

My car had 100k km on it when I installed springs, has 120ish now. not bouncy like a car with blown shocks can be. That said, I wish I'd got some new OEM shocks to install at the same time as springs (100% combined labor)

There are no shock options for AWD, other than coilovers and OEM (or KYB oem replacements)
