Wheel Purchase

I have a hard time finding wheels. Either I cant find something I like, in my price range, or size. I have seen things I do like local but add tax and new TPMS and it usually kills it. Either I wait or look harder. I was looking at these but with the TPMS puts it just over. It was $1799 and they were out of stock. I have the 2013 Journey Sedan RWD Liquid Platinum with 17" base. I wanted to stay about $1500.

I have seen so many suggestions and opinions its driving me crazy. I dont want to kill the ride and make it too rough but want to fill the wheel well. Want something that looks aggressive but not stick out to far. The typical I am seeing is 245/35/19 with +40 offset. I have used the links to calculators but still unsure. I wanted to look at 245/40/19 as overall it seemed the same size but one vendor said it was more involved than that. I dont plan on lowering my car.Can anyone suggest some online sites other than Tire Rack or Discount Tire. I have looked at Victoria Tire and Ebay.

Have you considered the Infiniti 19" coupe wheels? IMO they're a great looking wheel and can be found on the site for $1000 give or take. They're a quality Enkei wheel, not overly heavy and use the factory center caps and TPMS, you can just use your TPMS sensors in teh new wheels BTW (unless you needed new ones so you can use your 17s in the winter).

Something to check out. Seems most I looked at had some type of curb rash or something and never looked in the cost of getting them repaired. I liked the IPL wheels I have seen.

Might be worth a look, and going w/ all 9" rims as opposed to buying a set used on site that are staggered would be better since you can do a true 4 wheel rotation for maximum tire life. You could run 245/40/19 or 255/40/19 all around.

Well it seems like this maybe a possibility. Advanti Bello

BO – Bello | Advanti Racing Wheels USA

19x8.5 +30 245/40/19
10x9.5 +45 275/35/19

Going to be close to $2100 unless I can find something else. Rim searching is freaking crazy.

You can save some money on TMPS if you reuse yours or buy a used set on ebay. I found a couple sellers on there that have good ratings and great prices on used units and never had an issue.

The Advanti I was just told are 60-70 days on back order. There was a set of TPMS local for $120 but from a 2010. Those are nice wheels but need to stick to a budget.

Nice wheels, and those tire sizes will be a good fit.
For great tires for nice prices check these All Seasons (I'm running them currently and have been happy w/ their grip & treadwear)
TreadDepot.com: Toyo Proxes 4 Plus Tires
And these summers
TreadDepot.com: Toyo Proxes T1 Sport Tires
Post up some pics when you get them installed
BTW, is there a reason you don't want to re-use your TPMS sensors?

Yeah Im thinking about keeping my stock rims and tires. Might swap them around for the winter. I saw you post those in another thread. I spoke with someone at Tire Rack and they suggested the General G-MAX AS-03.

Ok I already have my wheels on the way but stuck on tires. I live in TN and my wife might be driving the car to KY. So who knows what the weather maybe. I am looking at these 2 tires and need to decide. Seems the General tires are either out of stock or low in place. Here are the 2 tires Im looking at. What opinions on both. Seems the Toyo are always suggested,

General G-MAX AS-03
