Wheels are on

Got my wheels & springs installed Saturday and I couldn't be happier with the ride comfort along with my gorgeous wheels! The "Drop" is killing me though. Do not like anything about it. My rear still sits way to high. Contacted Need4Speed and swift.. correct part but the spring may not be compressing. looking for other options as of right now! Its currently getting wrapped.. pictures will follow!

Ya, the springs havent compressed correctly or settled at all.

Or, you should have gotten Eibachs.

I love those wheels on the G37, but I agree that the drop is needed

I contacted Eibach a while back and they said that the AWD springs they have are for the ad coupe and they haven't done any testing with the AWD sedan. So they weren't sure how even the drop would be for the sedan. This was about a year ago so I don't know if anything has changed on their end as to if they have done any testing with the AWD sedan. Just give them a call and ask. Wouldn't hurt. Or just look around and see if anyone with the AWD sedan has installed them.

If you're not happy w/ the Swift drop your best bet is to get in on the group buy for the Fortune coilovers. There's not many options for deeper drops on an X and the coilovers will allow you to get the exact drop you want and to soften or firm up the damping to get a ride that is what you prefer. You shouldn't have a problem selling the Swifts as they're a popular and well respected Spring drop. Here's the Fortune coil group buy thread~

I think the drop is requiring a little of time for the springs & shocks to settle a bit.
There won't be a drastic difference, but a slight drop/adjustment...Give it some time.
The rear does look a bit high...not sure if mine was the same.

Are the wheels flushed with the wheel wells?
If not, this can give you the appearance of more wheel gap.
The lower profile tire also contributes to the appearance too.

Lisa, one member on the board had a similar problem with their spring install. Turns out the springs were install upside down. I've seen other AWD G's with Swifts and the back of their G's weren't that high. Something is wrong. Reach out with other members that have an AWD sedan and see if they can measure the distance from ground to wheel well, then measure your. GL.

By the way, set up is coming along nicely. Job well done.
