Tire suggestions
Im looking for some summer tires for my x sedan, im goona be running coupe wheels with 245/40/19 tires.
Ive been looking on tire rack and am interested in the sumitomo htrziii, kuhmo ecsta spt, bfgoodrich sport comp 2 or the bridgestone potenza s04 pole position. Im a bit more concerned about tread life and noise as opposed to all out performance... any thoughts on these?

The only one I've heard of would be the potenza pole positions. I have them now and I'm quite happy. The lifetime could be significantly improved by rotating the tires on a squared setup. The performance is excellent also.
I'd give a look at Toyo T1Sports too, here's a link

I don't have a Sport model so can't offer you specific testimony, but I usually stick with either Michelin or Bridgestone for tires... I think they consistently make better quality tires than most other brands.
I have Kumho something tires on my car now, and wouldn't recommend them. They're a little loud and too stiff for my taste. If you're on a budget, they aren't horrible, but if you can pay a little more I'd go with another brand.
Out of what you listed, I'd probably go with either the Bridgestone or BF Goodrich (BF Goodrich is Michelin's value brand, like Firestone is to Bridgestone).
Go on tirerack.com and look at ratings and reviews for all the tires you're considering. That website has lots of info. Survey ratings are broken down into lots of categories, so you can see how people have ranked each tire for noise and tread life, since those are important to you.

I've personally used all the tires you mentioned above with the exception of the Potenza (which I know is an incredible tire). Sumitomo HTRIII is a great tire. I was deciding between those or Firehawk Wide Ovals and I went with Firehawks because of it being all-season and they perform great on my neighbor's RS4.
Stay away from Kumho Ecsta - I've had two sets replaced under warranty, 6/8 tires had bubbles within 5,000 miles.
G-Force Sport Comp 2 is a great summer tire and performs well in dry conditions. I had slipping issues in wet conditions. Also, the sport comps are a noticeably louder tire.
If those are your only options, I'd go with the Sumitomo. Otherwise check out the Toyo T1Sports as Brad mentioned. One of my favorite tires, hands down.

Hi,
I recently replaced the good years that came with my car with Falken 453 and I have to say they're a huge improvement. They stick to the ground much better than the good years and they are also not as noisy, but they are by no means a quiet tire. For the price they are great.
Since I just got them I'm not sure how long the tread will last.

Almost a week ago I had Yokohama S.drives put on my G. I also have the coupe 19s. I have been very happy with them. They are a very sticky tire but quiet at the same time. The only time they become a little noisy is when you're hitting the brakes hard or when you're taking a turn pretty hard. My brother has them on his Audi TT and took me out on some back roads this past weekend and gave his car hell taking turns much faster than I could imagine possible and had no problem keeping traction at all. The tire tread is very aggressive. I had a little bit of snow the day I had them installed and it did about as good as the all seasons I had on the car throughout winter, although I wouldn't suggest running them in the winter. I went with 225/45/19 in the fronts and 245/40/19 in the rears and probably could have done 245/45/19 front and 265/40/19 in the rears, or similar. If you'd like I can post a picture of the tread and how they sit on the coupe 19's.
I love the so4 and just got the 245/40/19 all around for 180 a tire. I used to run the continental dw extreme and it's a fantastic tire but just a little soft on the sidewall. I put around 19k miles on them on my Lexus and they still had plenty of life left. They are 198 per tire right now. Very quiet too.

For what your describing, I'd run the BFG.
