Vibration at higher speed. Only 3k miles driven

Hey guys I'm looking for some help with a vibration issue I'm having driving at higher speeds.

2010 g37 anniversary edition.
Purchased the car about 2 and a half months ago and only put approximately 3 miles on it. Bought it with 23k miles

I've started to feel vibrations at highway speeds. Thought it could be low tire pressure since my indicator was on, so I filled them up, and now the vibration is even worse. Feels like a cupped tire at the rear wheels, or an out of balance wheel

Since I've only driven it for 3 k miles I figure it is less like an unevenly worn tire.

What do you guys think it could be based on the vibration becoming worse with more air in the tires?

Thanks,

Have the tires and wheels balanced as suggested by BB.

at what speeds does the vibrations start? wheel out of balance would cause vibrations starting around 55-60 mph. and the vibrations are pretty mild.

if you have harsh vibrations where the entire car feels like its shaking and car feels unstable you may have other problems such as a tire internal separation or loose or worn suspension components.

It's pretty subtle up to around 50-60. It was extremely subtle until I put more air into the tires. It seems to be coming from the rear, since I've had imbalances in the front before and the steering wheel shook, this time it is not shaking. The car has been dropped off for a balance so hopefully that's all it is! My god, this car is nearly new at 27k miles. And I haven't driven it hard yet. Hard to believe a tire could cup in a day. All the suspension components are in good shape after taking the wheel off and taking a peek. Struts are good, everything is attached. Good bushings. Hopefully I just lost a wheel weight. But thanks for the replies guys.

if it still vibrates after you get it rebalanced try getting an alignment. only two things i can think of that will cause your wheel vibrations.. is it still on stocks?

Like black betty said, wheels are out of balance. Or you could have bent wheels.

Regardless ... it's not something you will fix yourself, you need to take it somewhere. Balance first, alignment second.

Took it to get balanced and the balance and alignment were good. Wheels are in good shape. The shop said the tires had bulges in the side walls... I've never heard of this happening. But the protrusions are what is causing the vibrations. Could the dealer be held responsible for this? I'm still under "their warranty" which lasts for 3 months or so. I called them and the sales manager told me he can't replace all the tires but to send him a picture and he will see what he can do. Do you guys have any suggestions on this? What are the rules regarding defective tries on a used cars? It's Lia infiniti of Albany for the record. Pretty huge franchise.

Most states have pretty strict laws about the condition of safety-related parts on used cars sold by dealers.

For instance, tires must have a minimum amount of tread and brakes must have a minimum amount of pad material or they need to be replaced.

I cannot imagine it is legal for them to sell you a car with damaged sidewalls.

Do a little research...

He's going to have a hard time proving that.
Since driving 3k miles, they could claim it was after the fact.
I'd go back to them, but use a soft approach.
Appeal to the safety issue.
If that doesn't work, you could try to make them pay for it.
Bubbles in tires are so hard to prove, good luck op.
Hope things go your way, that's why when ever you buy a used car, getting it checked by a qualified mechanic. It's possible you could have caught it time of sale.

Just curious, what brand and model are the tires? If you look online you'd be amazed at the selection of tires you've never heard of and some cost about a third of name brand tires.
