Michelin Pilot Sport AS3's

I have a question regarding my vert's 19" wheels. I have heard that the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3's were good tires. Everytime I go to a tire website to find:

Front - P225/45R19
Rear - P245/40R19

The Michelins do not show up. But, Michelin does make the AS3's in those same identical sizes. Any clue why they do not come up as tires that could work on my 19" rims?

Thx in advance for any help...

JB

What I meant was, when I search for tires by vehicle, the AS3's don't show up. When I search by tire size, the AS3's are listed. Is there some reason why the factory-size AS3's wouldn't work for me?

No not at all. If they come in that size they will work just fine

I sell wheels and tires. PM sometime and I can probably help you out

The reason it's not being matched online is due to speed rating. That tire is made in multiple speed ratings. Your front size only made in W and the rears made in both V and Y, but no W. So if you buy that tire you'll be forced, per what Michelin makes, to mix speed ratings. Searched individually you'll see them. Not the best idea to mix speed ratings.

Thanks for the explanation Neal. That's easy to miss.

Any chance of a pic or two of them on the car? That's what I'm leaning towards on my x sedan

what happens if I mix speed ratings? I was really looking forward to actually buying the AS3's, but since it's different speed rating, what's the best tires i can buy for the stock 19's?

Can upset the balance of the car during fast maneuvers or around corners.

Would you know of a different set of AS3's that have matched speed ratings that would fit on the 19" OEM pairings of rims? If not, no biggie...

I've been using these since late August and they are awesome, HUGE upgrade! The speedometer isn't impacted, since the circumference of the tire/wheel stays the same.

The front and back are both ZR rated:

245/40ZR19 front
275/35ZR19 rear

I have a 2011 vert...but don't plan on driving over 149mph, so I will prob go with the Z-ratings unless there really isn't too much of a difference of $ between the Z's and Y's...

Can anyone post what the modified sizes look like on their infiniti?
