IPL w/23k on OE tires...i need help...

on selecting new tires. I am staying with stock sizes and looking for a higher mileage tire. I do not track the car just want good all season treads. So what are the good ones?
Thanks!

Do you mean DWS? I don't think Continental makes it in the 225 size for the front wheel, only the 245 for the rears. That seems to be the case with a lot of tire manufacturers. The front OEM sport size seems to be an odd size, and I wouldn't recommend mixing front/rear tire models.

Take a look at the General G-MAX AS-03 or the Yokohama AVID ENVigor. They are available in both front and rear sizes. The Yokohama's have a slightly higher UTQG rating, so they should last longer.

I've got Continental DWS as my non-summer set and have been extremely pleased with them for an all-season tire.

/\ /\ What JMS2000 said. Have heard less than flattering stuff about Generals as they age. I would look at the Yok's as well.

Apparently Michelin is coming out with a high-performance all-season tire very soon. How bad is the tread after 23,000 miles? I am about to need new tires myself at 20,000 miles.

Are you referring to the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3? Looks like they come out in July. They will be available in 225/45ZR19/XL 96W and 245/40ZR19/XL 98Y or 245/40R19 94V. They have a 500 AA A UTQG rating and a 45,000-mile warranty. The reviews are favorable saying they out-perform some summer tires in dry conditions... These look pretty good...

Those are exactly what I am referring to. However, the 45,000 mile warranty will not apply if you stagger the wheels on the G37 Coupe like the sport model does stock. I personally would still choose the Michelin Pilot Super Sports, because of the rave reviews they are getting for our cars. I drive a different car when the weather conditions are unfavorable, anyways.
