Best tires to replace with for lease return
Just make sure all 4 are matching. A few cars ago I had replaced my rear 2 tires with hankooks and the front 2 were Michelin PS2... they made a big deal about not having a matching set even though I had another new infiniti sitting in the driveway.
Yes, they are all matching, they are the originals. My question was about tread depth measurement and how much Infiniti scrutinizes this since the lease states 1/8" required at return.
I took my car in for a "detail" this week since they scratched it during a wash.
I spoke to the service manager in length about returning the car less than stock. I was discussing how I plastidipped it and he started mentioning how I can leave that all on (grill, badges, spoiler, wheels) when I turn in it. I said oh yeah? well not the springs or anything right? Said nope thats not an issue either as long as we get the whole car back and can sell it without having to do anything. I asked about different Infiniti wheels ( I love the newer EX wheels as well as both the old and new M wheels) said thats not an issue either, even with them being an inch larger.
Cliffs: Service Manager did mention tires matching and being the correct speed rating for the car.
