VARRSTOEN ES1 18X9.5 5X114.3 +30 73.1 HYPER SILVER W/MACHINE LIP
Those are 18x9.5 +30, going to be right at the fender w/a bit of poke, they may work w/ camber in the -2 range. Those will be similar in fit to that post right above^^^ w/ 4mm further out.

On stock suspension that would be very aggressive. With a drop and some camber that would be more suitable.

Convertible can handle much more offset so you should be able to get those to fit. Might shoot a pm to cereal2k, he runs aggressive setups on his vert.

I am running Vossen CV7's on a convertible on stock suspension:

19 X 8.5 5X114 +30 front - 245/40/19
19 X 10 5X114 +20 rear - 285/35/19

It is a perfect fit! No need to lower the car and mess with the weight of the roof. Looks great!

19x11R on 275/40/19
19x9.5F on 245/35/19

I want to rid of the wheel gap that I have, would springs be ok without a roll/pull? I don't want to go all out on coil overs if I don't have to.

Do you already have the wheels? What offsets do they have?
A mild spring like Swift & Eibach works well, but may need rear camber/toe kits to keep your tires wearing ok.

To 18s back i go! - G35Driver
If you ran 255s instead you'd be 5mm out from those so you would need some camber help.
i contacted the supplier and they have stated that none of the 18s will clear and only 19x8.5 +45 and lower and 19x9.5 +30 and lower will clear the Akebonos, does this sound right? still waiting on reply from Work for the Emotion D9Rs

Did you go through RavSpec? If not, might contact them as they're used to a lot of Nissan/Inifniti setups. But it's possible there could be barrel clearance issues on the 18s or the spokes are too thick in that area of the wheel Those type wheels w/ the extended lip definitely make BBK clearance tough sometimes. Does the Work Kiwami or the new T7R do anything for you? Those wheels should have much more room FWIW.

Yeah, they're already installed at stock height and have ZERO rubbing during any style of driving. The rear could use at least 1/2 inch drop but the front would need almost 2 inches. Which springs would be best? Or should I just bite the bullet and get coilovers? Here are some pics, ignore the thrashed fender trim, replacements are on the way.

Almost everyone would say to just go with coilovers from the get-go, since you kind of never really know exactly how much of a drop you're going to get with springs. If you think a particular set of springs looks good in pictures, they may end up being too much or too little when you see them installed in person. Besides, with aftermarket springs you will likely need aftermarket shocks to compensate for the change in spring rate, otherwise you will blow out your stock shocks. And there are some pretty decent budget-friendly coilovers that will set you back not much more than a full set of springs & shocks.

Looks like a decent fit overall, hard to tell what offset you're running without a shot down the side. Do you know the offsets on those wheels.
Would surely benefit w/ a mild drop.

Good advice here^^^ Tein Basis cost about $600 and you can dial in just the drop you want but don't have damper adjustment, still a very good option over springs. KSport has decent coilovers w/ damper adjustment in the $850 range, also Tein has a new Flex coilover in that range as well. For a biot over $1k Stance SS coilovers are good, then another step up is the KW V1, these also don't have damping adjustment and are about $1400, then the KW V3 which are fully adjustable and about $2k. For a daily driver you should be happy w/ the first two or three sets I listed. You will also need at least a rear camber/toe kit, but best to get the full F&R camber kits, they run about $500 for the full set.

Is this calculator legit?
For a 19" wheel, the difference between each degree of camber is 33mm. That seems excessive. The way the calculator works, it takes the angle from the bottom lip of the wheel. That doesn't make sense, as the pivot point is around the hub, not the bottom lip.
Either way, this gave me false hopes, I think.
