Shoes, Shoes, Shoes...

As you know summer is on its way, and therefore I'd love some input from my extended family on some new shoes.

Enkei EKM3 or SSR Type F

1. Ride is NOT lowered and will never be.
2. 18" wheels

Me likie SSR but lot more expensive and lighter (18lbs) vs 24lbs.

Base on those pics, to me enkei says classy and SSR more sportier.

IMO neither of them in such a small size do anything for the G sedan. If I had to pick one, I guess I would go with the Enkeis. But for the money, wouldnt stock G37s sport wheels look much better and probably cost less while increasing the value of your car? What are you currently rolling on? Ever consider plastidip on your stock wheels? Are you buying a tire and wheel package or just the rims? If its not too personal how much are the above wheels selling for vs what you can find used oem Infiniti sport wheels selling for? G37 coupe wheels look pretty nice on the G sedan as well. These are just my opinions, good luck with your ultimate decision, just make sure you keep them clean.

Any opinions on O.Z. Ultraleggera? Looks like they weigh about 18.5 lbs....that should make a nice difference compared to stock (along w/some Michelin PSS).

I switched over my 17" OEM wheels as my permanent winter set with tires (which are on now). I'm looking for something for the summer now, since I don't have a second set.

No plastidip on wheels. Don't care too much for OEM wheels honestly, I'm looking for something aftermarket.

If you must go the 18s route, look for wheels with no lips. The lip will always make a wheel look smaller than it really is.

I have 18" Enkei RP03s, that has a nice concavity to it, and they don't look as small. Side-by-side with my old 19"s with a lip, they look almost the same. The tire sidewall is what gives it away.

The coupe wheels look good, but they're staggered aren't they.

RWD-only, Sport Package OEM rims are staggered, both Coupe and Sedan. (And also manufactured by Enkei for Infiniti, BTW.) AWD Sport package rims are not staggered.

It's a very popular choice, putting the 19" Sport Coupe rims on the Sedan, and understandably so, because they're gorgeous. But it's by no means a unique thing. In other words, they look very right, but not special. Unless a set fell in my lap for a ridiculous deal, I wouldn't go out of my way for them.

The Coupe 19's are sexy as hell, I'll admit that. But they don't come in an 18".

I'm stuck on 18's because this is the 'family' car and comfort is important, we've got lots of unpaved roads and potholes up here, plus without a drop 19's make the car look like an SUV.
