Things to know when adding wheel spacers
Hey I have finally decided to mod my sport coupe & would like to ask what are some helpful things to know when using wheel spacers? I will be mating the H&R DRM15mm (F&R) to anniversary 19" oem. Any pointers to ensure the best out of the setup would be greatly appreciated. Thnx & thnx for all the very helpful post/replies I've read.
Retighten them about 100 miles after initially putting them on. 90 ft/lbs is plenty. If you get vibrations at high speeds, there's a wire fix you can do but the ones you want are hubcentric and you should be ok. If you're paranoid about them coming loose, a tiny dab of blue thread locker should ease your worries.
Search. All spacers work the same on all cars.

Those must be my old ones!!
Tighten the spacers by hand, then torque in a star pattern to 40 ft lbs, then torque in a star pattern to 85 ft lbs.
Do the same for the wheels.
The wheels must not be touching the ground when torquing them, have a friend step on the brake.
You won't need retightening, as I already have been through tis step. These are used spacers.
You might want to verify the wheel torque after 100 miles.
DO NOT USE ANTI SEIZE on the bolts, only a light coat around the hub center.
No wire rings needed, these are hub centric, and have never vibrated on y stock wheels.
