Smile 2 New Tires for 2009 G37.

Hey everyone,

I'm in the market to buy 2 new tires as the other 2 are fine. I was wondering if I should get the same tires or go with something better. Would there be any performance issues if I decide to go with something else? Also, which tires would you guys recommend?

I currently have Eagle ls2 - P225 /50/R 18
G37 Journey S.
I live in SoCal so all weather tires would not be a requirement.

PS. I have a heavy foot and care less about noise.

You could throw better ones on the rears, but I hear that can cause uneven wear if the dimensions are different

Which one of these would you say is better: Bridgestone Potenza's like: RE050A or RE760 Sport OR
Michelin Pilot Super Sport?

I would *NOT* be mixing all season with performance tires. Your car will handle worse due to more/less friction at different ends of the car. If you want to go with performance/summer only rubber, do it in sets of 4.

That said, also give consideration to the potenza s-04 tires. Me personally, when it comes times to tires, i'll probably go with the PSS or the s-04's (sport sedan).

yeah, I like the Potenza S-04 and I might go with that. I just don't wanna spend more money on the inferior Goodyear tires and be stuck with them for several years. Especially since I had one of my tires shredded on the freeway with my Old G35.

I think making the change at this point would be a step in the right direction. I just hope it doesn't suck too bad.
