I finally got around to getting some stock 19's on my non-S coupe yesterday. It looks so much better! My 18's had tires reaching end of life and it was my birthday so it seemed like the right time. So I found some 19's on CL for $300 with no tires/TPMS, and sold my 18's a few days later (made money on the deal ). Got new rubber off Tirerack, but not before I took my car out to a big parking lot and smoked the old tires down to the belts. Had to drive like 25mph to the tire installer they were so jacked. Good times!

Nah, if you went from 18 to 19, it's definitely an upgrade. If I would have found stock 19's on CL for $300, I'd buy them just to sell on Ebay for $1000 LOL.

 

Some people just don't know. I sold my stocks on Craigslist for 550 with tires. No tpm and they were in good condition. I wondered why someone bought them so fast then I joined this forum and realized they were worth so much more... Congrats on the rims man

I wouldn't have known about the price the rims went for. Some maybe just remember the price they paid for the Sports package and figured 1K out of that was the wheels, and since they are used, one would mark down the price... One more reason to do good research not only when buying something, but also when selling stuff we paid hard-earned cash for.
