Ya, sprung and unsprung weight...
It only matters if you're racing.
No one puts on 20", 27lb+ wheels for racing? It all for aesthetics.

OP - both will look great on the G. The Vossens are quite poplar here.

I like both wheels, I might like the stance a little better because it has a lip. I love how ours g's look with a lip. Someone needs to make a sticky about the weight of vossen concave series. It started by having people not liking vossen and saying they weigh a ton. They weigh 27f and 28r. The stance on the other hand weighs about 30f and 32r. Vossen has great marketing and photo shoots, stance not nearly as big as Vossen but still made a very nice looking wheel. The debate of Unsprung weight has been going on for a while now. People agree and disagree with it.

I myself went with the SC-5ive wheels, due to other wheels became over played, plus stance has an actual lip as to where the CV3's look like your rolling on 22's how the spoke design goes all the way to the top of the wheel.

Can't hate on the sc5, it's a great looking wheel. The cv3's do look huge when your slammed, That's why I bought em. In the end there very similar and you can't go wrong with either OP. personally though I wouldn't get the all black sc5's, it takes away from the design, there just 2 dark IMO. My .02 the matte graphite however have a lighter shade to them.

Not true...a heavy wheel has more mass which means its more likely to bend or crack when you hit a pothole or whatever. Lighter wheels arent just for racing.

^ I don't think the question of wheel weight came up (here) because guys are concerned about what happens when they hit a pothole. I think they want a good looking wheel that won't drastically effect acceleration and fuel economy. Maybe I'm wrong.

I will choose a quality made forged 20" wheel at 28lbs over a cheaper, cast, 18" wheel that weigh's 22lbs.

^ He's right. One of the main reason I spent serious cash on wheels on my 350Z was because of potholes in Miami. I've seen several people with cracked cast wheels from hitting potholes on the expressway.

I had Volk GTS and the couple of times I hit a pothole or something at a high rate of speed I felt safe that I didn't damage a wheel. Especially if it's monoblock. You crack a lip, you can replace it, but an entire wheel can be a disaster.

^^ should of seen the vossen meet man, it was the wheel of choice lol. Then again a good looking wheel is just that. People are going to gravitate towards it. Same could be said about the gt30's but they are so sexy.

Cv3s FTW! Ahhh I can never get tired of them even with all the new stuff out

+1 though even though GT30s are everywhere still very gorgeous!

Op get what you like best regardless of who has what or what others say it think, you'r car and you can't go wrong with CV3s I rocked them and can't regret all the compliments I always got and the number of necks broken with this set up.

Go dual concave CV3s and you will be a happy roller.
