Should I go 19s or 20s on a 2011 Sedan?

I am planning on either getting oem 19s or aftermarket 20s. I dont want to spend a bunch of money on my susspention down the road. I might drop it an inch sometime down the road.

I have never put 20s on a car before. I know the tires will be cheaper. But is there any resons on why not to use 20s?

Anywho just let me know your thoughts on which would be better and why.....

Also I am thinking gloss black or gunmetal. (even on oem Sports 08-10 or 11-12)

ride comfort is compromise also. may be negligible to some, but it's there.

Mars, that's a huge drop in mpg, much more than should be expected since the coupe 19's aren't heavy.

OP, 20's add weight, not a huge deal if you're just going for looks. But I think 20's look odd on the G if it isn't dropped. Here's some pics of stock height vs lowered on 20's. Stock Height vs. Lowered

That sounds like a huge drop in mpg. I took my 2011 G sedan on a drive to/from Vegas from socal using the stock 17's and got roughly 27.1 mpg (2 people in the car)...took the same trip after I got the coupe 19's and got 25.8 (3 people in the car). Not sure why your mgp went down so much..

So the mpg drop shouldnt be to big with 19s but 20s it might....

Also I agree about the drop. I would drop it an inch but I dont think I would do much lower.

I really dont want to do more than springs and a camber kit. I am trying to get the car just right and not jump into the whole mod thing again.....

At only a 1" drop you should be able to get camber in spec without a camber kit.

My average is around 19 too. I don't think I've ever averaged over 20 unless I drove on a long trip on the interstate.

My 20s dropped my hwy mpg by about 1-1.5 mpg, still get around 27-27.5mpg, tires are cheaper for 20s too. My 20s weigh about 1.5 lbs more than stock 17s so not much heavier although the bigger tires add a few pounds. IMO 20s look the best if you're dropped, but 19s are a good compromise for looks & performance. I love the thin stiffer sidewalls that the 20s provide for tight cornering.
