can i fit a square 19x10 setup on my x sedan?

looking for new wheels, was wondering if anyone had advice for a square setup. i was thinking 19"x10" 30mm offset all around? would this fit without spacers? need a square setup due to the awd system ... and if so ... tire size recommendations? thanks!!

You can fit this setup no problem max tire size that would be recommended is 245/35/19 all around with a minimum of an Eibach drop. If you do not lower your car the setup will stick out a lot in the front.
If you want to run staggered setup you need to run tires 3% rolling diameter within each other. That means setups like 245/35,285/30 or 225/40,265/35 or 235/35,275/30 these sizes won't give any problems to the AWD. I have tested these sizes and they work.

See the attached. The outer side is going to be nearly 2" further out and may stick out past the fender.
I cant remember how far the factory wheels are set back in from the fender on an X but I don't think it was 2"

is there enough space inboard of the wheel to clear the suspension stuff if i were to go to a 9" wide wheel with a 47mm offset? (using akebono brakes too)

If you don't have any Plans to lower then 19x9 +40 is the optimal width and offset you can be. My first setup up was this size and it fit like a charm

This changes everything. Offset isn't going to tell you much about whether you will clear those brakes. The spoke design (e.g. concave, flush or with big lips) is also a big factor.
Search the forum. There are a few nice wheels that will clear the Akebonos (like my 20" DPE R16 )

Uh, thats WAY too small for a 19x10 and will be VERY stretched. Thats small even for a 9.5 width rim. I (and most people) run a 245/35 on a 20x9 rim in the front. When I had 19x9.5's I was running 245/40 and it looked stretched....

You really need to go through the site and look at pics to decide what kind of set up you want because everyone on here is going to give you different opinions.

One person's opinion of how much something is stretched or the fitment vs another is night and day and it has to be a look that you are going for.

this is not for looks, this is for getting the maximum tire on the ground. and i want to keep the stock ride height. also, using the sport akebono brakes. the tires should have a sidewall that is perpendicular to the ground, as that is how tires are generally designed to operate best. i am thinking of the 19x9 with 245 or 255 series tires ...

^ You may already know this. It's hard to tell if you are stating fact or asking a question
The 255 is best suited for the 9" wheel and will give you the greater tire contact patch. The 245 will fit the 9" wheel as well.
