It's all blacked out with the exception of the ring around the lens that I kept chrome and my side strip is wrapped in CF.

awesome shot bro... sick ride...!!!

yeah, thats the same approach i want to take... your housing and everything is all blacked out... that ring around the lens makes it stand out...

if you had the chance of doing it again, would you leave the entire shroud chrome, blackout entire shroud, or leave as is (ring around lens)...???

havent pull the trigger yet since it will be a one time job and dont want to regret anything on this one...

Thanks for the props. If I could do it again, I'd keep it exactly as is. I gave it a lot of thoughts before I went for this paint scheme and it has worked with every evolution of my setup. Also very happy because this is a variant that no one else has done before or even replicated since. For me, It's just the right amount of chrome to work with the emblem and wheels, not to mention it accentuate the lens area.

Headlight mods is not something you wanna keep doing over and over so as you said, I'd for sure be 100% on the design before getting into it.

definitely... love the way the cars sticks to the road and takes turns... performance and dont forget comfort... tires absorb everything on the road
35's are meh in the front but in rears are fairly nice, I wanted to do 235/40 but of course they don't offer them so I ended up with the 35series. Only reason I want 40series would be for comfort and adsorb the harsh roads in houston.

I'll be looking at 245/40 and for the rear i may keep them or do 265!

Yeah i hear you... youre scheme definitely works great with your set up indeed... i like to see uniqueness or one of a kind set ups like you have done there... awesome job there!!!

as for me, not 100% sure what set up i want to go with... which is why i havent gone there yet...

i have been thinking in making the housing glossy black, shroud and everything else matte black... or matte black housing, shroud and everything else glossy...

not sure just yet... havent concentrated on that yet... but would definitely make the IP even more aggressive looking...

saw your new set up with the new front bumper... sick looking bro!!! one of a kind unique design set up you got there, specially with your wheels man...

yeah, the 245/40 definitely feels nice... one of the first things i noticed was the comfort... i was on the 225/45 stock set up before... suspension and tires in the 245/40 go perfect with each other there, solid and stiff but comforting...
