Going to pull the trigger on some new Vossen CV3's in a couple weeks, and have a question for everyone......how would you think my current wheels( 20" SV1 forged wheels) would look powder coated satin black? If I did this, I would powder coat EVERYTHING accept for the rivets. Here is a quick pic of the car with the wheels how they currently are:

 

if u do that, do the lips in gloss black.

I think that sounds good. Satin black centers with gloss lips would look really good on your car.

 

So no one thinks it would look good with all of the wheel being satin/matt black?

 

Won't look bad, but some contrast in the wheel would look a lot better. Gloss lips for sure.

 

Gotcha........just want something different to go back and forth with between wheels.

 

+1 if you want to go all black route or you leave those lip as is

 

hmmmm... I like how they are now. What finish cv3?

 

Meh, can't leave the lips..... lol, they are chromed and not polished. gonna have them blasted, then pained/powder coated.

Or I might get the urge to post them up on here.....who knows. But have always preferred to have a second set of rims, to keep a change going when I want to do something different, ya know?

2 sets of wheels would be awesome. And I really like the idea of matte black centers with a gloss lip.

 

Yea, I use to have 2 sets of wheels for my CLS.......But then got the G37, and haven't found any others I REALLY like, so the graphite CV3's it is.
