Shhhhh, don’t tell her. She is away in Texas visiting her mom but the G stayed here. I bought some used wheels and tires from a guy on here who sold his G37. They are not what I would have ordered myself but I paid about a third of what everything was new. I like five spokes and exposed fasteners. She like the mutli-spokes or mesh and she likes the fasteners hidden. The tires are not as tall as I would like but I’m going to try them before deciding on changing them out or not.

They are 360 Forged Spec 12's:


They looked pretty good but needed a good polishing. Here maybe you can see I started polishing the top area compared to the unpolished bottom part:


Like I said, she’s not around so I made the living room (with 70” LED TV) my workshop. What she doesn’t know won’t hurt her.

A reference for the rear wheel lips (rear tires are 285’s):


After I polished them all up, I sealed them with some wheel polish and then cleaned up the tires. Then I wrapped them up for storage until spring. Sorry, no pictures on the car for now.


The deal included some Gorilla lug nuts which needed cleaned up as well.


I made a little storage box for the nuts:


The wheels will go on in the spring but I think I will change the brake package up at the same time. The stock brakes just won’t look as impressive as I’d like. The next big change up will be the headlights. Those things will be changing color if everything works out right.

Hey, I follow alot of your threads and really like your MAJOR attention to detail. You seem to really know your stuff, which is why your choice surprised me a little bit.... I could be wrong, but I thought I read on here that 360 Forged was one of the companies who was putting out poor quality wheels. Just wanted to give you a head's up. Don't worry about me, I've done tons of research. The problems with 360 Forged were mostly dealing with ordering and receiving the orders. Not an issue for me because I bought them used. The guy who did order these wheels went through the same headache of trying to get the wheels months after they were promised.

I've never heard of a quality issue with 360 Forged. These are in perfect condition.
