Taking the plunge tomorrow :( NEED HELP! +35 NOT WORKING!

Evening all,

Could use some help please! I'm trying to fit 19x9.5 +35 in the rears. We test fitted today (unfortunately the lug nuts didn't fit). After taking an initial peak, I'm very concerned that they won't fit. They stuck out a good inch from the wheel well (fender line). They're a set of Volk TE37s. Fronts are also +35 but 19 x 8.5. I've been looking around and I'm seeing people with 19x10.5/10 doing +22 - perfect fitment. We unfortunately didn't get a chance to drop the car because of the lug nut issue (off a TL-S - his lugs wouldn't squeeze over my studs). We're planning on going to Les Schwabb tomorrow to see if we can get a set of lugs + have them put them on. Would greatly appreciate your advice prior! THANKS GUYS!

I think you should be fine, especially once you lower the car. But 19x10.5 +22 on a sedan is not perfect by any means. On a coupe its pretty perfect but a sedan its WAY aggressive

He will definitely be MORE than fine. It'll be sunken in once it's dropped.

Just for reference, I run 10.5 +37 in the rear with 275 tires.

That's about 11mm more than you in the outer position and 15 less the inner clearance.

Remember the wheels camber in when you hit bumps

35 offset is pretty high, I don't see why it won't clear. I say try it, what are the tire sizes?

Unless tire sizes are 50 series, it should work. People running 22 offset with 40 series front and 35 rear with no problem.

i'll give it a shot. as i mentioned, we couldn't drop the car on the ground (lugs weren't fitting). i did my research prior - i was certain they would work. it was only after seeing the wheels sticking out ~an inch that i became nervous. we'll see tomorrow. thanks VERY much for ALL your input guys

There's a floor jack under the rear diff (it isn't on the ground). Look how far that puppy sits out!
