Silly Spacer Question
Silly Spacer Question
So I'm lazy and don't want to go about replacing the studs on the front of my car. My wheels don't have the normal recesses in between the lug holes like most wheels do, instead it's completely flat. So with most bolt on spacers that have the studs built in to them, the stock studs poke out a little bit from the spacer but it's fine because the go into the recesses, but that won't work for me. For those of you that are running 25mm spacers, are the studs completely covered by the spacer or do they still poke out? In the rear I'm just going to run a 5mm on the stock studs and torque the wheels down a little bit more... Done it before with no issues. If someone with 25mm spacers could help me out though that would be great. Thanks guys!
I used to have 25mm spacers. The existing lugs shouldn't poke past the spacer or you won't be able to put your wheel on...yours shouldn't either or you won't be able to put your wheels on. I'm not sure what your saying about your wheels though...
What are your wheel specs??? I've never heard of anyone running 25mm spacer in the front and only a 5mm in the rear...

My spoke design doesn't clear the front brakes so I have to run a big spacer in front. My rears are much more aggressive so they don't need as much of a spacer. Not sure what you're saying about the stock lugs shouldn't poke past the spacer though. If you put a 10mm slip on spacer the stock lugs stick out past it, same thing with a bolt on. See how there is a recess here next to the lug hole?

Mine are completely flat. So when that stock stud protrudes past the spacer, my wheels won't mount properly.
