running lower profiles on OEM 07 G35sport wheels

Is this a good idea to run a lower profile tire on stock 07 4DR sport wheels? This is mainly for looks, would this sacrifice too much comfort?

stock OEM:
front 225/50/18
rear 245/45/18

upgrade to
Front 225/45/18
rear 245/40/18

Well, I can tell you that comfort level will decrease and your speedometer will be faster than actual.

decreased in comfort level is minimal. i went from those to the sport 19s, which have the same aspect ratio sidewalls you want to upgrade to. I can barely tell the difference in ride quality.
