Honestly i think it looks AWESOME! obviously would look 10000x better with a drop. hopefully it holds up the road and weather.

As far as the process, you can do it with the tires still on(the postcard method) and plastidip holds up very good against weather and else(I plastidipped a lot of my friend's cars and we constantly wash those wheels with degreaser and power washer, still like the first day).

 

Looks good..... would look gazillion times better if car was dropped.

I wish they offered more colors.... like a dark grey or bright pink..

 

You can buy a color kit and mix them to your liking.

*hint* mix black and white to get whatever shade of gray you want, or white and red for pink.

 

I found this company that will coat anything you want. They usually work with firearms but i emailed them and they said they have done rims and engine covers too!

Sorry, home computer crashed; to answer the questions:
this car is used by my GF:

1. ) the tint is 5% limo all the way around, and 35%windshield.

2. ) the process: remove each wheel. wash it with gentle soap & water. tape it off with painters tape. and then spray. spray inside and spray outside.
if you dont remove the wheel you risk the chance of getting the stuff on other components such as suspension, brake lines, calipers, etc. not worth the hassle it could bring. do it right, the first time.

3.) and regarding the drop, since it does snow here in NJ, and this is her full-time car, id rather not lower it. this winter was challenge enough. my RWD cvpi patrol car was getting stuck constantly in the snow, i could not imagine a lowered 6mt G37.
