If you lightly knick a curb at higher speed, I think you can end up with a similar damage. If you knick a curb at lower speed, you naturally react to pull away from the curb. But at higher speed, you won't be able to react that fast if you didn't see it coming.

I was thinking the same thing!! I feel your pain man that sucks but it should be a quick fix.

i was coming out of a mall parking lot, it had a curb to the left & the right, it was very narrow, was going about 5mph and making a turn and it happend (this happend to my drivers rear wheel )
