I rotate side to side evey 3750mi & the wear is EVEN; if U drive by yourself most of the time there is more weight on the left side. B/S OE's are assym NOT unidir, so U rotate only side to side. $33 is a tad hi compared to Firestone, but consider the overhead & its reasonable.

I was thinking of doing the same when I change my oil at every 3750. I do my own oil changes on my altima and also rotate the tires. Just a little leary of using jack stands as I only have one floor jack and don't want to use the one in the trunk.

Tire Rotation
Hello all - I'm a bit confused about Tire Rotation on my 2011 G37xS Sedan after reviewing some of these threads and the manual.
It seems there is a common consensus that "S" model owners should not rotate however there were some suggestions on tire size playing a predominant role in that decision. All 4 of my tires are the same size - 225/50R18.
Any thoughts on whether I should get them rotated or not?

Those with staggered (front/rear are different size), directional tires cannot be rotated at all. If the tires are not directional, they can be rotated on the same axle.
Given that your tires are all the same size, they can at least be rotated front/back if directional. If not, follow the recommendation in the owner's manual.

Thank you Jsolo and blnewt for the insight! Maybe a stupid question - But I suspect there is a sign or indication on my tires if are directional? The picture in the manual suggests front to back rotation if tire sizes are the same - So I will likely go with that.

Thanks Neal - after further review it seems like the front tires are a different type than the rear tires, despite the same size and speed rating. Front -Uniroyal Tiger Paw AS65 Tire and Rear - Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring NT Tire. Would you recommend a front to back rotation in this case? Tried to find arrows/indicators for directional evidence but could not see any.
