That's one reason why I'm going to get rims in 19s. Can't see the potholes until it's too late and especially on the highway at highway speeds. Same crappy highways on 285 in atlanta. Sorry to see this.
Well got the verdict from local repair shop. Wheel is done for. They cant remove the stainless steel lip without wrecking it and they would have to heat the wheel in order to straiten it wich would meen repaint etc etc...
All of this kinds of cools down the mod fever.

It sucks, but you can go after the public works department and its a fairly simple process. When I lived in Toronto, the same thing happened to me. Hit a pothole and bent one of my 3 week old 5Zigen wheels (had an Integra at the time). I contacted the public works department (I think it was municipal, so City of Toronto, not the province of Ontario) and was told to have my wheel/tire repaired or replaced and send them the bill. Thats exactly what I did, and was reimbursed within 2 weeks of the entire scenario.
I hear ya man. After the same thing happened to me I vowed that I'd never do the rim thing again and just ride stock wheels.
