Frustrated....Question

OK, so I have gotten my wheels stolen about a month ago and ordered rims with my insurance money. i ordered them from ravspec and got Volk GT-30s 20 9.5 +35 and 20 10.5 +24. they told me they were going to fit and ordered those offsets for me. i got the rims and got tires mounted and the rears didnt fit at all. I then ordered ichiba rear camber arms and KW v3 coilovers and they still didn't fit, so i bitched em out. I spent an extra $3500 for coilovers, cambers, and the 2-3 alignments that i had to get done because of their mistake.
now they are willing to exchange the rims for me for some advan rsD because they can't find anything else close to my current volks. the Advan RSD 20 9 +25 F and 10 +35 rear. Seems to me like i am losing a lot due to their mistake. i will also have to purchase another set of brand new tires. Should i take the deal?

Its up to you but with coilovers you should be able to adjust your height, and you can also adjust your camber to make it work, along with diff tire sizes. 35's in the back?? should be 30's

well, my height is max and the cambers are maxed out too. the rims seem to stick out a little more than the car.

well being at max height is part of your prob while ur wheels are poking snout. lowering the car makes your wheels go like this / \. what do you mean by the max camber???

wow, wtf. once you lower your car, you should let it settle for 2 weeks, then go get an alignment, at that time install the camber kit so they can get your camber back close to stock, as well as toe and caster

OP post pics so we can take a look at your stance. The Volk setup is agressive, but in the realm of possibility. Pcasey is correct about the ride height. You should be dropped a good amount and running negative camber / \ -1.8 is the max you can go in the back with still being within spec. Anything past that you're risking eating up inner edges or your tires.

Bottom line is this should be able to work, just adjustments in your set up

Most that have these wheels like myself have offsets of 35 up front and 37 in the rear.. I'd get the rears replaced for 37 which fits well with 275, possible slight rub risk with 285.
