Forgive my ignorance, here, but what's the story with Volk v Vossen? Are the Volks lighter and make for appearance and weight reduction whereas the Vossens just look good or what?

Sweet looking ride, btw... but I still kinda prefer the CV1's in matte black unless someone tells me they are much heavier.

 

Volks are made to perfection in my opinion. I love my vossen though, looks

 

Vossen (IMHO) have better style. Some of their models are a little basic, but most are highly refined and cutting edge. The Volks seem more focused on performance and (again IMHO) are straight forward wheel patterns that don't aim for a lot of style. The whole KISS concept basically. There's nothing wrong with a straight forward, tried and true pattern that accomplishes the end means, I just prefer a stylistic approach and solution.

Volks and Rays are best known for their racing wheels. Vossen not so much.

 

Thanks for the lesson. Are Vossens heavy? Or would switching to them lighten me up a little from stock?

Love that look, couldn't have picked better wheels for that color. I think aftermarket wheel vendors must have gave Infiniti wheel designers some side money to design such fugly stock wheels. No 2010-2011 Infiniti G sedans (sport or Journey) should remain on their stock wheels, they belong on Accords or Camrys
The stock coupe wheels are nice though

Again, those Volks are totally off-the-hook, one of the best matches to a G I've ever seen!

 

volk is 2piece vossen is 1piece, totally different wheels imo, can't really compare em. it's just preference

i like all wheels that aren't heavy and looks good
