that really sucks that they even dropped it on the rotors n a ****ed up rock in the middle. They deserve to get messed up

^ good question.... You would think that you could afford to leave a cheap jack behind when stealing almost $5k in wheels/tires.

I was just looking for wheel locks after going through all these recent threads and found these:

CTA Lug Nut Remover Wheel Lock Remover Fits Large Nuts/Locks

A $14 socket which will break a wheel lock off!

and

YouTube - How To Remove Wheel Locks Without a Key

A nice instructional video on how to remove a wheel lock without a key


Kinda seems stupid to invest in good $150 wheel locks when a $14 socket can take them off...

That's the most common way to remove them. Sometimes you have to sacrifice the socket because the lock will not come off the socket if it's a tight fit. I forgot the size but I think a 22mm will fit most wheel locks. If a thief wants your rims he will take them whether you have locks or not.
