I'm currently running 255/30/20 & 305/25/20 w zero issues and love the look! Yeah if you want normal tires then the proper set up will be 245/35/20 or 255/35/20 or rears at 285/30/20 but you can also squeeze the 295/30/20 on the +45 CV3z just fine ! I really would love the 305/30/20z vs my current 25s but those are $$$ , if u have coils u can adjust perfectly the 305.25 all options are great I just wanted wide amd that's why I chose my 305s regardless they being 25 series.

are you lowered? ..if not i would suggest lowering ur car where u want it first...I thought the stock 19s looked big enough until I lowered the car and the rim just seemed to disappear ..20s fill out our huge wheel wells nicely. I dunno the 19 specs for cv1s sorry
Thanks guys, much appreciated. the thing is, stretched and flush looks is a luxury I can't afford because of the street conditions here.
So im thinking about running Cv3s with regular sidewalls and I'll be getting coils to adjust the right drop for a good flush look and eliminate the wheel gap
Just one thing. i noticed that most of you run bigger tire height on the front than the back. Just like OEM setup which is something like 45 front 40rear I think. any reason for that? or is it just personal preference? sorry about newbies questions

The offset difference between the front and back makes it closer to flush. I live downtown Baltimore, so I understand about the road conditions. The 255/35/20 front and 285/30/20 rear has no stretch in the tire and leave enough room in the rear for no rubbing.

You will not rub with the wide tires with the 32/45 offsets on CV2/3 the look is phenomenal . CV1 also offers the 32/42 which also looks great . I ran both and yes 20/25 looks more concave cause u can see the concave from the rear view more but you have to be willing to run stretched tires and shave your rear bracket which sounds worse then it is but its worth it! If this is your DD I will recommend the higher offsets and wide rubber over the stretch and poke. Just my .02 from experience

I'm thinking about running 20/25 with a 245 and a 285. I'd like to run close to stock camber settings. I know this is gonna rub big time, but I'll probably end up pulling the rear...kinda surprised I haven't read more about people pulling the fenders. Is there a reason why no one is doing this?
Just read through damn near 99% of this post/thread. A LOT of great info so thanks to all.
Quick question, seems like everyone ONLY runs 20". Im looking to buy my cv1 +20/25 this week and was looking at 19". Any particular reason why mostly/only 20" here, am I missing something? Thanks guys!

I have not seen a CV1 19s on a G! but would love too. Maybe some 19 deep Concave all around ? Limited editions? Lol would be very nice. Anyway I will find out some specs and see what's available w the 19s, I guess the love for 20s took over haha. Nah JK, but 19s would sit very nice w some thick tires!

Well honestly my buddy had stock 19s w Spacers and 245/275 and looks damn good! Very aggressive and I was actually wowed lol.
Only way I go 19 inch cv1 is if we do a test fit amd for the rears all around and go w some low offsets. But hey, it's a win win! 19s are just fine but if u want that concave w the Stock plus more aggressive look, then go CV1s. Honestly my all time fav; basically those wheels got me into Concave.
