I had Vossen CV1 for about 2 years, zero issues with the wheels. Sorry to hear about your misfotune Kuz. Did you contact vossen about your situation? They are usually pretty good with their customer service.

They hooked me up already, which was great. I just find it hard to believe that they'd do it again. Maybe this winter I will look into getting them refinished somehow.

These wheels have never seen salt or anything other than soap and water. So weird.

Such a shame, because I love the way they look.

Man that's crazy Kuz. Sorry to hear that. You should post some closeups of this corrosion/damage. Maybe someone else will have an idea/solution to this problem.

Hopefully I can dump these off to someone that wants a cheap project in refinishing the wheels. I just don't have the patience.

Has anyone else had similar problems?
How are you washing the wheels? I noticed some heavy cleaners can strip the clear coat

An update to my previous posts...

I contacted Jav at Vossen to discuss the issues I was having with my set of wheels. The communication was excellent. Jav was extremely fast with coming up with a more than adequate solution. They really stick by their customers and I am glad that I went with them, rather than with another wheel manufacturer who rarely try to work with their customers. I'm glad that I will be able to enjoy my wheels longer. As you can see from my picture, they look great.

I edited some of previous posts since I feel some of my comments were a little unfair because I said some things without talking to them first.

+1 on the customer service side for Jav and Vossen. Helped me out of a huge bind when I first got my wheels and believe it or not I have been fighting to get my deposit back from another set of wheels since May that had a 4-6 week completition date where they won't even answer my calls or emails anymore. When I had problems with Vossen, Jav went to the point of giving me his cell and doing everything he could.

Can't go wrong with that!

I'm on the edge of ordering some CV1's, but still confused on offset and tire size. Im dropped on tein s tech. Should I go with +20/+25 offset? (i dont want any wheel spacers) And a lot of people are on 235/30/20 Front and 255/30/20 Rear. Should i go with those tire sizes?

Would you like your rim poking out w small stretched tires or some wide meaty tires? I ran many set ups and I would strongly encourage you to go with the 32/42 with 255/305s or 245/285 or 255/295s depends what u r looking for, Or if you want a Stanced out Look go 20/25 235/255s but you will sacrifice tire life but damn it looks good! Vossen has something for everyone. First ask your self this, what kind of driving do you do and are you looking for practicality or just looks!

I would listen to VossenG37S. He has tried many setups. Many people have asked the same questions (including me) and from what I gather, it really helps to describe what look/drive/feel your after as well as what your vehicles specs are or plan to be. Me personally, I'm gonna try 255/30/20 305/25/20. Still on the fence about if I need to run 32/45 with a 5mm spacer or run 27/40 with no spacer. I don't even know if this offset is available from Vossen. The Info PDF on website doesn't work!

I want this look! :P

Thanks man^^^ Vossen doesn't offer 27/40 he offers 32/45 I added 5mm spacers just for my preference but u really don't need spacers I just wanted to have a slight lower offset w my 255/305s . If u want the look im telling u just go buy the higher offsets and u will love it after the Tires arrive!
