I hear ya man... I came from Eibach's ... don't care what anyone says, but coils make a difference, and I won't waste money on springs ever again in the future.

Now to get this thread back on topic.... Can anyone guess whose car this is? Don't forget to vote for him as Car of the Month!!!!

VOSSEN Cv1 Matte Silver

I had Falken 452 and my other car and I hate them , they road noise was horrible, the I switch to Nitto invo and what a DIFFERENCE, yes, that big, they are really quited. Now I was wondering how quited are the V12 compare to the Nitto Invos. I need to buy 4 new tires and the V12 are very atractive at their price point, I just don't want the same Road noise that I had with the falken 452. Anyone care to add any experience?

What tire size did you have? Did the road noise start when the thread was almost gone or when they were brand new?

245/35/20 and 285/30/20, the tires were almost new when I replace them. I couldn't take the road noise.

Sorry to say, I felt that the Falken's FK452's are way quieter than the Hankook V12's... I have them right now and there is no complaints about road noise. If you want quiet I recommend you just buy some Michelin Pilot Sports, pricey but I'm sure you won't have any complaints with road noise.

What are you looking for in coils? There are lots of options all for different uses.... Lots of threads on this forum. Are you looking for ride quality, affordable, adjustable, performance, stance.....etc??? I think you need to decide that first... I'm not very familiar with the Tein Flex coils. I suggest searching some of the threads and deciding what's best for you. I would NOT call Tanabe Sustec a waste of money as you put it, but there are other options at that price point with more adjustability including Megan Racing and BC Racing.

They all pretty much the same as far as ease of adjustment for height... Tanabe Sustec does not offer dampening adjustment (stiffness/softness of shocks) and with you aggresive wheel offset it may be a good idea to get some that have dampening adjustments to avoid bounce and rubbing on your wheels.
