G37 - Same Size Rims On All Four?

OK guys..2 questions:

1) Is it advisable to use same size rims on the front and rear for G37? I'm talking about same size and width of the rims.

2) Also, does reducing the width of the front tyres to offset the effect wider rims work?

I know that the best setup advisable is staggered rims setup but there's not much option available for that setup from where i came from ..and if possible..i want to install rims without messing up the car's VDC ABS,TPMS (If possible) or whatever sensor it might affect.

1) g37 nonsport wheels are non staggered, same diameter, and same width.

2) It should work, but might look funny with stretched tires in front and not stretched in rear.

What are the specs of the wheels u are considering?

I agree it would look goofy having different size tires on the same size rims. If you really wanted to, couldn't you just order the rims of your choice off the internet?

That is what I have done, because the shops around me don't have anything I am interested in. Anyway, it wouldn't matter if you have the same size wheel in the front as the back.

Oh..didn't know that nonsport G37 dont have staggered rim setup. There shouldn't be a problem if i install them then.

However, does that mean that the ECU/sensors settings for Sport and NonSport G37 are different in terms of rims setup? i mean...would a NonSport G37 get the same benefit as a Sport if Staggered Rim setup was used (apart from physical benifit of wider tyres)??. If not, is there anyway to reprogram my NonSport G for using Staggered Rim Setup?

Anyway, im considering 20inch 9 (Front) and 10.5 (Rear).

I could..but the shipping cost to the country i'm posted to right now..not to mention the tax..is really deterring me from doing so..i might consider it if i REALLY don't have any other options left..

im not sure on the exact diameter of the rims & tires for the S model(19's) and the 18's with tires, but im guessing if there is a difference in diameter- then the speed/tire rotation sensors would be off. (i personally dont care its just for the winter.)

i just installed the 2010 4door g37s 18inch rims on my 2door g37s as winter rims/winter tire setup.
