New Rims

Hey guys trying to do some research. I have a 08 g37 with stock 18's and one rim is bent so thinking of going to 20's. How much different can you guys tell with the ride quality. I am thinking of putting Helo HE851 Chrome on it but am clueless on the tires. What other things do I need take in consideration? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Anyone Know a good tire shop to go to around the Sarasota Area in FL thanks

I've never heard of those wheels but if they are chrome then they will likely weigh a ton. You shouldn't notice a difference in ride quality, but you will be able to feel the road more, as well as having better handling due to the thinner side wall. Thoroughly do your research with what wheels people are getting along with exact offsets and tire sizes. If you jump into it and get something that doesn't fit then it will look like crap and you'll waste your money.

When I went to 20's I also changed to coilovers and replaced rotors with some aftermarket bling. Omg what a difference. dont forget front and rear camber kit also.

You will feel a difference in ride quality. It will be stiffer and you will have less body roll. You will feel the bumps and pot holes much more with 20s. It's an obvious difference trust me.

For your concerns of issues like rubbing etc, we need to know specifications of the rim and tire itself.
For example, we need to know offsets, witdth of the wheels F and R, Tire size that you will be running, and Spring or Coilovers (depending how low your car is).

20" x 10" 20 6.29 5x114.3 . with nitto NT555 Front Tires: 245/35/202 Rear Tires: 275/30/20
I don't know if this is going work if not I will just look for 19s. any info is appreciated thanks .

Looking for a good custom wheel shop in the Sarasota Tampa area

Getting bigger rims wont make your car stiffer or have less body roll.
What are you talking about

getting bigger wheels without changing your suspension will make your ride rougher. you will feel the bumps and potholes more since there are less tires to absorb the impact.

Offsets ?
Most people drop on Eibach springs. least aggressive drop that deletes ride like stock the gap in the front fender but not too much rear. Most springs cost about 200~250, and you might want the Rear camber kit (to avoid - camber, which will eat inside of your tire first) which is about i dont remember.
I have S-tech and it sits low and I love it.

Drop most to Least
H&R > S-tech > H-tech > Eibach and Tanabe around same.
