Squared Set-Up G37S sedan

Has anyone here run a squared set-up on a G37S or G35S sedan??? I'm starting to look at my options already for next season as my stock OEM REO50A's will not make it through next year summer. My Blizzak's LM-60's will be installed in about a month for the up and coming winter.

I'm thinking on running 245-45-18's all around with some Continental ExtremeContact DW's. Also I've been reading other threads on line, mainly about BMW's, and a lot of people seem to think that a squared set-up is best for handling. Is this correct???

Thanks.

It's preference. Staggered helps with turning, squared up with 245's will be fine. Your fine with squared up putting around town. Turning might just feel a little heavier if your used to 225's up front.

Thanks for the reply. But I can't believe no one on this forum has ever try this considering the limited staggered sizes available.

Also the Continental Extreme DW's according to the Tirerack are $23lbs each so they are lighter than the stock front REO50A's, 27lbs.

That size is fine to use all around on both vehicles. Very common upgrade over the oe sizing. DW would be a great tire to use also. Performs to the level of others like Michelin for less cost.

As for the staggered fitment, it's really up to you. Larger tire out back will help over steer but means you cant rotate the tires. Unless you're really pushing the car I'd stick with 245's all around.

will 245 look too wide and puffy for 7.5 front wheels?

Probably. 245's would be much better on an 8.5" wide rim.
