I am at 23,500mi and my OEM 19in BStone Potenza RE050s are basically bald. Fronts are 3/32 and rears are 2/32. I am garaging the car now for winter and will be buying tires in March to install come spring.

I want an all around performing tire that can handle better in rain and 1-2 inches of snow. I also want tires that can give me 30-40k miles and ride more comfort luxury than sporty, even if it means sacrificing handling, I only drive spirited, not aggressive/track. So I am looking into getting the Yoko Avid Envigors. Since I am buying in Spring that should give more time for g37 reviews of the tires to come out, esp with all the drivers that get the Envigors until then.

My main concern is that Googling some reviews of the ENvigors was showing that many folks were having a hard time balancing their tires/wheels, and were getting some annoying vibration in the tires in the 50-60 mph range. I am worried about pulling the trigger on these and experiencing that. I hope more AVID ENvigor buyers speak up on the forums. I have till March 2011 so Im patient, lol.

Reviews that mention balancing problems and steering wheel vibration at highway speeds

I don't have any problem with the envigors. It looks like you already have them though, judging by your signature.

I don't think they'll be worth a damn in the snow.

32k on stock 19" s rims on my stock tires. If the insides of my fronts hadn't worn away due to the drop I could easily get another 20k out of them all the way around.
