Replacement Tires

I have a 2008 G37S and it currently has 33K miles. At some point in the future I will be requiring new tires (the stock ones are wearing extremely well and I may be able to squeeze 40K out of them). I understand that the stock tires are 225 front 245 rear. My plan is to keep the stock wheels. I have also read on this forum that you can go as high as 245 front 275 rear. However, I have also read on this forum about the rear wheel requiring spacers if you go to the 275 rear.

I am not a tire engineer and want to go to a tire as wide as possible that will fit on the existing wheel without having to add spacers, etc and will not rub or compromise the ride. What is are the appropriate maximum tires sizes based on these parameters?

Thanks in advance....

Spacers make it so you CAN'T run as wide of tires.

245 275 is the most common size to upgrade to on stock wheels. Someone did 255, 285. It works, but it looks meaty as hell.
