M35 18" wheels on G37 Sedan (non sport)
M35 18" wheels on G37 Sedan (non sport) -- Pics updated.
Updated: So I got a chance to wash the car today and took some pics. The wheels look great, I think

In reference to my existing thread in Wheels and Tires box that got little attention: https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...g37-sedan.html
I found a set of M35 18" (2008+) wheels locally and would like to know if I can put them on my G37 non sport sedan.
Stock setup: 17 x 7.5", +45mm offset, 225/55-17
M35 18" setup: 18 x 8", +47mm offset, 245/45-18
2 questions actually:
1. Can I put them on with 245/45-18 all around?
2. Can I put them on with 235/50-18 all around? I realize there will be inaccuracy in the odometer reading, but will there be any fitment/rubbing issue?
Thank you very much!

They will fit. As long as the bolt pattern is the same then going from 7.5 to 8 in wide wheel is not going to make any difference. Many of the aftermarket 18 in wheels are 8 in wide so you aren't doing anything to alter the warranty. I would try and stay as close as possible to the stock diameter so as to keep the speedo as accurate as possible.
Check out this website for tire size calculations. You should be able to run 245/45/18's without a problem. Wheel / tire size calculator / comparer - WWW.RIMSNTIRES.COM
Posting here apparently gets more attention and helpful replies
Thanks a lot! I feel more confident now. Yes, the bolt pattern is the same. I prefer 235/50-18 because Pirelli P0 All Season tires are on sales right now at my local store, and a little more side wall does help the ride a bit. The difference in odo reading is like ~2% (60mph is actually at 61.6mph or something). Plus, I found pretty good reviews on those tires. But if I go with 245/45-18, I'll go with the Conti DWS.
I am not much into those 19s because of the (more) rough ride, but thanks anyway!

Here's a thread I had over on G35 w/ our previous G, I put 235/50/18s on all 4 corners and it worked out great. Some pics of the setup on pg 2 of the thread. The speedo difference was next to nil too,

Spacers are usually purely for the look. They basically space your wheel away from your rotor.
In some cases they are used to help the rim clear larger brakes, but usually just used to make the rim sit flush with the fender.

I finally put the M35 18" with Pirelli P0 AS on the car. It looks and drives great.
Thank you everyone!
I had the car aligned this morning. The right rear was a bit off, no wonder I had the feeling that it was pulling to the right. But all is good now. I haven't got a chance to take any pics because (1) It's been raining and (2) I need to wash it first.
I didn't add any spacers. I think it looks just fine.
