new wheels without dropping?

Well, I totally understand dropping the car would have the best look, but dropping is really not an option for me. The main reason I traded in my last car for the G37 is because suspension mods. It is great in handling, but no one can ride in it comfortably especially my 6 month old. I don't want to follow the same steps with the G37. I need this car to be comfortable so that my 6 month old can ride in it.

Anyway, I bought the G37 without any wheels upgrades, so it came with the regular 17"s. I want to go with 18" or 19" but everywhere I looked, everyone is saying dropping is a must. so who actually upgraded their wheels without dropping and think it looks better than the 17" stock rims?

any recommendations? Or should I just save my money and keep the 17" since I am not going to drop the car?

Thanks

I've got 19s on my '09x and I think it looks fine. I can't drop mine because I live on a gravel road and need the clearance especially in the winter. I don't think the ride comfort suffered much at all with the 19s.

the comfort difference in OEM and Eibach is negligible. No one will be able to tell, it will just effect ride height.

As far as wheels, the bigger the wheel the rougher the ride. So if you really want to keep it smooth (as possible) stay with the 17's.

+1. Eibachs will give a lowered height but not really any compromise on ride quality.

Getting a nice set of wheels without eliminating the fender gap is against the rules

I would just keep it stock than. You could get Tein EFDC to control dampening / rebound. But if you're not gong too low you could probably have something like kw v3s softer than stock with enough suspension travel.
