many of us are looking for nice 20" wheels in a conservative spending range - SO LETS SEE THEM!

I would love to see some 20" Wheel/Tire packages that are under $2000

POST YOUR WHEELS/TIRES!
Help a lot of newbies like myself in wheel selection/cost - which right now is driving me insane!

 

This was my first set of wheels in 2008
got it for $2500 locally, I'm sure you can get'em much cheaper now.

With 20" tires, you're already looking at $300+ a tire. That's $1200 for the tires alone, leaving $200 per wheel. Good luck finding quality.

 

wow that's really hard price range to get both lol you don't have that many choices for that price IMO. I mean if you really wanna get good looking wheels you're going to have to look at the price range around $2000 without tires.. There are some options like TSW stuff.. you could get wheels and tires for under $2000.. Just save little bit more let's say around $2600, you will be able to get forgestar wheels with hankook tires. that' what I will go for
maybe you could sell your rims,tires and add up to $2000 and get good stuff

 

Not if you get something like the Yokahama S. Drive or the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. Both of those have had favorable reviews (at least as good as the OEM sport potenzas) from users of this forum, and can be had in 20" for less than $200 per tire from places like tirerack or performance plus tire. I've seen even as low as $160.

Which could leave around 300-400 to spend per wheel.

 

A little searching and those seem to be selling for around half that these days. Good to know...

 

If you're looking for QUALITY it won't come for less than $2500...

Tires are gonna be 700 at least, plus don't forget mounting, lugs, tax....

 

300/tire for 20s??? what friggin tires are you running? lol

common 20" tires like falken fk452/yokohama s.drives/hankook v12 are like 125-150/tire.

 

I got OEM 19s for under 2k, does that count?

 

Get some Rotas... Lolz.

 

IMO save your money for a little longer and spend a little more getting quality. You will be hard pressed to find a high quality wheel/tire combo for <$2000 even used.

 

yeah - right now i can get new vossens for $1850...so maybe i will just get them PLUS $700 for tires..

Sell you these with good condition NITTO 555's for 1300 + shipping...you can sell your stocks for more than that if your patient and end up making a lil on top. They are not super expensive wheels, paid 1500 for the rims and 900 for the tires.
