Wheel advice from wheel gurus plz!

Hey guys!

Summer is coming along and i'm looking into some wheels from my X coupe. After reading countless threads, I've decided to not go with staggered wheels since it's not really recommended for the X (although i'm aware of the whole tire diameter debate). That also pretty much eliminates wheels with lips (I'm not really into the lip look anyway) - unless I get something custom made but that's gonna cost mucho $$$

I want to get 19s because the roads over here are just garbage. Also, I'm lowered on the Eibach P-K. I don't want any rubbing since I wouldn't do anything extreme like removing anything (like lining).

I really like the look of Axis Elites

Problem is, I would have to keep the same width all around which leaves me the choice of either 4 identical: 19x8 + 45 wheels OR 19x9.5 +55 wheels which, from what I understand from my limited knowledge of offsets, is very conservative. What do you guys think? These wheels are made for a staggered look so maybe I should eliminate them entirely... But I really like the look so that would suck.

Another wheel I like is the TSW Croft, but I've heard that TSW sucks (a.k.a. The Soft Wheel) - but i'm really down with the look as well.

Again, I know the brand sucks, but maybe you guys can recommend something similar that's better quality (No lip plz!). I'm not a huge fan of the F14 Forgestars since they're kinda similar but not really lol.

My budget is between 2 to 3k Canadian for wheels AND tires.

Ideally I would go for the Elites, but it's not meant to be then.. it's not I guess...

Thanks for any input!!!

Look into the Vossen concave style. Most here will tell you that both TSW and Axis aren't very popular brands, and usually for a reason.

Vossens should run south of 2K for wheels and a set of tires installed should be <$800 for Yokohama S.Drives, Hankook Ventus V12 Evos, or Nitto NT555s

First off, vossen concaves aren't avail yet, not till nov. The axis wheels look good in person and if I'm not mistaken, those aren't the G37 offsets, contact them, they have a special fitment for our cars and I think they were +25 Good luck, I'm looking at 2 axis models and the forgestars. The forge stars weigh alot less and will do any size and offset you want, at 350.00 awheel. Check with Danny at Limited Edition Limited Edition

Just like everyone on this forum I like Vossen wheels but that doesn't change the fact that they are staggered and thus not recommended for AWD... I'm not willing to risk putting staggered wheels on my G...

Unless someone has a way to fit 4 Vossen wheels with the same width without it looking like crap (it would look crappy with a same-sized lip all around)

same widths with diff offsets will yield diff size lips.

i would just go with a nonlipped wheel if you dont want staggered.

ive seen those 1st axis on an IS-F and theyre dope. but those offsets are wack.

Get them in 9.5 all around but you need more like +25 all around at the least.

I like the look of the TSW more than the axis. Honestly even if the TSW are lower quality rims, you could afford to replace a bent or broken rim since they are relatively cheap. A possibility that you can go with is getting rims in the same width but different offsets, thus creating a deeper lip in the back than the front resulting in a faux staggered look.

Don't get cheap rims, you''ll end up in Mid-Life's position having to buy new rims.
The potholes here ruined it for him.

Wouldn't 9.5 in front be excessive? Like wouldn't it stick out way too much? Also, wouldn't handling be adversely affected?
