19' OEM gloss black aint so bad either, so I'm probably going to run that route.

There are plenty of quality wheels for sale in the classifieds section. IForged, Vossen, Work, I think I even saw some DPE's a while back that never sold. All are in the 2-3k range.

Nothing wrong with powdercoating the stock wheels though, they look great for stock wheels IMO.

the stock sport wheels do look good, thats why I run them as winter wheels

Maybe do a sticky w/ separation by price for G37 fitment (like in post #8), and the brand's main stream style in (). I know something like this would have definitely helped me when I 1st joined.

you can get good quality wheels for 3k ..work and advan make nice ones although they are cast not forged.

as i'm sure you have noticed, people seem to love vossen on this forum and their rims are under 2 grand shipped. everyone will have their opinion of a top quality rim so I would just pick a style you like and go for it.

This is an interesting subject but as it was mentioned the subject is not cheap and will require a lot of $s

I wouldn't want to open a new thread, so i thought better post my request here.. Can you guys post pictures or link to pictures of any Gs with nice rims to compare?
