Clonend Rims?...

I assume rim companies can rip each others designs off? I was reaseraching rims came across another. I assume Lexani is the original now.

Here we go:

1)Lexani:

2)XIX:

3)Mizati: (has to be crap at $160.00 dollars a rim. Must be steel)

Very few companies actually make their own rims. Usually just source from a main vendor and rebrand as their own.

Have you not noticed the gazillion Volk GT30 knockoffs? It's laughable. There's lots of second rate companies ripping off designs in the wheel world as well as every other type of part.

^^ Yeah I was surfing rims last night and had seen quite a few knockoffs around. Damn. Vossen has a few too. Didn't notice it until comparing rim pics.

Cannot belive these companies would not design there own rims in a CAD program and trademark/patent it so others don't copy.

Looks like a profitable market to clone.
